Passap machine knitting instructions for a padded waistcoat knit in a variety of stitches and patterns. See the diagram for the different stitch patterns and Deco punchcards used for this waistcoat. The knitting is paused to insert acrylic stuffing after certain stitch patterns.

The waistcoat is finished with knitted trimming sewn on at the end.

Materials
20 g acrylic padding
450 g medium “acrylic/mohair” (475m per 100g):

• 150 g black
• 120 g brown
• 100 g green
• 80 g aubergine

Test square
100 sts = 38 cm

Knitting Machines
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the DM80 and E6000 Passap knitting machines. To use this pattern on an earlier “Pinkie” use half a stitch size smaller.

By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.
