Passap machine knitting instructions for a plaid sweater knit in a racked double bed tuck pattern. See the diagram for the AX←/AX← needle set up and the complex colour sequence required

The bands and yoke are knit with 1x1 rib.

Materials
280 g Angora (800m per 100g):

• 185 g brown
• 40 g pale grey
• 15 g salmon
• 20 g caramel
• 10 g red

Test square
In racked AX←/AX← pattern as per diagram and colour sequence: 100 sts = 38 cm, 100 rows = 15 cm

Knitting Machines
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the DM80 and E6000 Passap knitting machines. To use this pattern on an earlier “Pinkie” use half a stitch size smaller.

By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.
