2965 Jacket
Passap machine knitting instructions for woman’s cardigan / jacket, part of a three piece suit which includes a skirt and a short sleeved v-neck sweater.
The cardigan has some rows single bed fairisle on the lower sleeve, knit using Deco punchcard 37. Shoulder yokes / tabs are knitted separately and sewn with the fronts slightly gathered. There is a narrow trimming band between yokes and fronts.
This pattern is marked with a “!” which means this is a “quick and easy garment to knit”.
Materials
500 g “medium cotton” (350m per 100g) :
- 465 g beige
- 15 g dark brown
- 10 g mid-brown
- 10 g red
Test squares
stocking stitch: 100 sts = 32 cm, 100 rows = 24cm
fairisle: 100 sts = 31 cm, 100 rows = 12cm
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the DM80 and E6000 machines. (To use with the “Pinkie” Passap, the stitch size needs to be half a stitch size smaller, ie 2 clicks less)
Form Computer programmes in sizes 44 - 46 - 48 - 50 are provided (except for the shoulder tab piece).
By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.
