I used Barcelona yarn by Loops & Threads to make this poncho and a 9 mm crochet hook, but you could use any size yarn and any size hook. Begin with a foundation chain that is as WIDE as you would like your garment to be, then work a 3 row repeat until your desired LENGTH is achieved. Make 2 rectangles, join them at the shoulders and on the sides, and your poncho is finished. You can make any length from long to cropped length, and you can have the shoulders exposed or closed in.
