It is a one piece, knit in the round infinity scarf. I tried not to twist it when I joined in the round. I got 2 twists again… On the other hand, I got a lovely surprise! I started with knit 8, purl 8 ribbing stitch (black up arrow), followed by a slanted lace pattern. Then knit 8, purl 8 ribbing stitch again (yellow down arrow). The 2 strips of 8x8 ribbing don’t line up at all. They look like knit 8 for the first strip and purl 8 for the second strip alternately.
Is it another accident of mine like the Unintentionally infinity scarf?
Is it an illusion?
Or it is just pure science.

I held 7 ply together to make them into dk.
Any yarn and colour will be great for it. Gauge is unimportant.
