There are two designs--Autumn (3a) and Winter (3b)--worked to the same instructions but using different stitch charts. In the book, Autumn is worked in Red (A), Orange (B), and Gold (C); Winter is worked in Dark Blue (A), Blue (B), and Light Blue (C). Different sizes of the sweater are created using different steel hook sizes.

• Small - 33 dc = 3.75” (9.5cm); 15 rows = 3.5” (9 cm)
• Medium - 33 dc = 4.25” (10.75 cm); 15 rows = 4” (10cm)
• Large - 33 dc = 4.75” (12 cm); 15 rows = 4.5” (11.5 cm)

Materials:

• Bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10), Color A - 3{3-4} balls (350 yards / 320 meters per ball); Color B - 3{3-4} balls (350 yards / 320 meters per ball); Color C - 2 balls (350 yards / 320 meters per ball)
• Steel hook as indicated below or size needed for gauge: Small - size 9 (1.4 mm); Medium - size 7 (1.65 mm); Large - Size 5 (1.9 mm)
