Gauge not important.

I used 3 coconut buttons and put buttons on the back of them so they can easily be moved around for different styles. The buttons fit through the big stitches and they actually stay put!

You can easily add more foundation chain to make it longer or less to make it shorter. Very easy to adjust pattern from beginning chain for size that you want. You can adjust how many rows for the width as well to make a custom fit.
