This pattern came into being from a sketch which my daughter did while home on holiday from University. I loved her sketch and decided to take it and turn it into a pattern - this was the modern wreath, I was then asked to make it in traditional colours in chenille.

The chenille yarn is done in 4 colours and is the traditional colours associated with Christmas, where the modern Christmas Wreath is in 5 colours using Stylecraft Special DK yarn - White (approx. 75 - 100 gram), Meadow ( approx. 75 - 100 gram), Aspen (approx. 50 gram), Aster (approx. 50 gram) and Cloud Blue (approx. 50 gram).

The pattern has both options as there is an extra row in the flowers using the DK.
