3 different crochet mushrooms, all using the same pattern! I made a little brown mushroom, a spotted red amanita inspired mushroom, and an orange chanterelle inspired mushroom.
For the brown mushroom. I used a brown yarn, fittingly called “Mushroom”, from red heart super saver, for the cap; and I used a super light greyish tan, called “Oatmeal”, for the stem (Also from Red Heart Super Saver)
For the amanita mushroom I used “Cherry Red” for the cap, and a cream color called “Aran” for the stem and spots, both from Red Heart.
And to make the chanterelle, I used Premier Just Yarn (the one they have at Dollar Tree) in “Marmalade” for the cap, and Red Heart “Cornmeal” for the stem.
You can probably make a few other sorts of mushrooms using this same method, by simply mixing and matching the cap styles and the different colors.
