Lovely set of Christmas Gift bags probably for the Children, or, the Young at heart.
Santa & Rudolph are just heads, Mary Christmouse can be poppered on & off as a toy if you like. The gift bags are 16 x 12.5cm & the largest is 21 x 18cm – although you can
make the bags larger if you like to take any sized gifts. All knit flat with 3mm knitting needles to keep the bags nice & tightly knit, so, no peeking! You could even hang them on the tree
You will need
approx 20g of the base colour (30g for larger)
Oddments of red, light brown, dark brown, skin colour, grey & some type of white /
cream fluffy wool. I used sirdar snowflake dk, as I had some left over in an off white –
any tinselly white / cream dk yarn would work
Tiny amount of black for eyes & nose
3mm knitting needles – I use circulars – as I keep losing odd needles, everything is knit
flat. Handy to have double pointed needles for the small bits, but not necessary
