Here is a pattern for these tasty thumbless mittens. Starts at the wrist/forearm and is worked up to the fingertips. Choose either diamond pattern or waffle pattern for the base of your cone.

Size is adjustable - instructions tell you how to choose your starting size and you can add or omit rows for shorter or taller mittens. Leave the top open for fingerless mitts or close up for mittens.

I used up some small amounts of stash yarn (worsted acrylic - multiple brands and colors) for this.
