3 stitches sock booklet: 1 basic sock pattern, 3 pattern stitches
Welcome to part 1 of my new series of socks booklets, where I share my favorite stitches for beautiful socks with you. Very easy, because you can knit them with one basic instruction. In this first part you will get acquinted with the grass stitch (1), the honeycomb stitch (2) and the diagonal purl stitch (3).
The 3 different pattern stitches are clearly worked out in words, charts and images, so you easily pick the pattern stitch of your choice and add this to the basic instruction.

For DPNs & Magic Loop needles
This cuff down sock pattern with heel flap is easy to knit, also for beginning sock knitters. It is suitable for both knitting with DPNs and magic loop. The instructions for these different type of needles are clearly indicated in the text.

Materials/gauge
Each stitch pattern is suitable for sock yarn with a gauge of 28 stitches x 40 rows (fingering weight). Suggestions for suitable yarns and colors are included in the description of pattern stitches. You can also choose yarn with a different gauge, for instance 30 stitches x 42 rows (light fingering weight). In that case the socks will be a little smaller.
