30 years and counting shawl
Errata - file has now been updated to include the K3 instruction at the end of rows 9 and 11.
After being gifted this wool by a friend I have known for over 30 years I decided to turn it in to a design to celebrate our friendship. It is a good mix of straightforward sophisticated striping and some fun, colourful but simple lace at the end. The boomerang shape makes it easy to wrap around your neck like a big yarny hug whilst the silk/cotton blend yarn has a lovely sheen and drape - not to mention being ridiculously soft and snuggly.
For the sample I used
Main Colour – 1x50g ball (115m/ 126yards) of Debbie Bliss Sita in Teal
Contrast Colour 1 – 1x50g ball (115m/126yards) of Debbie Bliss Sita in Aqua
Contrast Colour 2 – 1x50g ball (115m/126yards) of Debbie Bliss Sita in Fuschia.
