What you’ll need for this pattern!
-G/ 6 (4.25mm) hook
-4 weight (worsted) yarn (1-2 skeins depending on what brand)
-Yarn needle
-Regular needle
-Thread (color to match yarn color)
-(6) 1/2 inch (Skirt) Hook and Eye JUST THE EYE PARTS.

No gauge needed. So long as your tension is not too tight it will fit bag perfectly.
