Pattern description:
This pattern provides instructions for Jacket, Coat, Bonnet and Hat, knitted in King Cole Baby 3ply or King Cole Baby 4ply yarn.

Gauge:
3Ply Tensions -
32 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm (4“) over lacy pattern using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

24 stitches and 52 rows to 10cm (4“) over honeycomb pattern using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

4Ply Tensions -
28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4“) over lacy pattern using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

22 stitches and 50 rows to 10cm (4“) over honeycomb pattern using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(Premature: 31cm / 12”), (Newborn: 36cm / 14”), (3 months: 41cm / 16”), (6 months: 46cm / 18”).

(Size 1: 1 balls yarn), (Size 2: 1 balls yarn), (Size 3: 1 balls yarn), (Size 4: 1 balls yarn).

4Ply Jacket:
(Size 1: 1 balls yarn), (Size 2: 1 balls yarn), (Size 3: 1 balls yarn), (Size 4: 1 balls yarn).

4Ply Coat:
(Size 1: 1 balls yarn), (Size 2: 1 balls yarn), (Size 3: 1 balls yarn), (Size 4: 2 balls yarn).

3Ply or 4Ply Bonnet and Hat:
Use the small amount of wool that’s left over from making the Jacket or Coat.

4 Buttons for the Jacket.
4 Buttons for the Coat.
1 metre of ribbon for the Bonnet.
