Pattern description from Knit.1, Spring/Summer 2008: “Helen Hamann’s daring trapeze tank, in bamboo ‘Stella’ from naturally NZ/Fiber Trends, brushes the thighs asymmetrically. This visual effect is created by working short rows at the side of the ‘skirt,’ which is striped vertically, then diagonally, by decreasing at the top edge and increasing at the bottom. The black bodice is knit in one piece to the underarms and is seamed to the skirt at the cast-on edge.”

Notions: stitch holders and stitch markers (one a different color)

The Measurements:

  • Small (Medium, Large)
  • Bust 34 (38, 42)“/86.5 (96.5, 106.5)cm
  • Length 30.5 (31.5, 32.5)“/77.5 (80, 82.5)cm

The Notes:

  1. “Skirt is made vertically in one piece from side edge to side edge.”
  2. “Top is worked horizontally in the round from the bottom up.”
