MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ US12 (0.75 mm) steel crochet hook
✓ Woolen embroidery thread (10 g). I used 5 different colors, but you can make the dragon using one or 2 colors. See the page with “Projects for inspiration” below. You can use any smooth or chenille yarn or thread.
✓ 2 toy eyes, 2 mm in diameter (the size of the eyes depends on the size of your toy), or you can crochet eyes and embroider pupils (instructions are given in the pattern).
✓ 0.3-mm nichrome wire or 0.6-mm copper wire (40 cm). The length of the wire for the frame is for the 7 cm tall and 10.5 cm long toy. You can make the toy without the wireframe, but the neck is long, and the head might end up hanging.
✓ Fabric medical plaster to fix the wire frame.
✓ white modeling clay to make the eye whites.
✓ wadding polyester
✓ PVA Glue to fix the toes, fingers, and crest.
✓ A thread to embroider the mouth.
✓ Sewing needle and tapestry needle.
✓ Scissors.
