THREE IN ONE—RUFFLED SHRUG; FANNY WRAP AND SHOULDER CHILL CHASER
(Perfect for all air conditioning situations, (movies, supermarkets, malls, etc.)
This pretty and useful shrug/wrap is very easy to knit and will make wonder how you did without this. For a contrast the ruffle is reverse stockinette stitch and the shrug is stockinette stitch.

Wrap it around your waist and tie for a fanny cover-up. Wrap and tie for a shoulder cover up, and when you need relief from the cool weather outside or inside (air conditioning), slip your arms through the sleeves for a stylish shrug.
Without thinking about it I found myself using the hanging sleeves when the wrap was around my waist to open germ ridden doorknobs going into stores and while walking pressing the traffic light buttons. Knit a second one, and leave in your car for the times when you need an emergency cover-up.

For your wrap/shrug to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
