#342 Little Knit Card Pouch
These little knit gift pouches are great stash-busters and fast projects! Use them to hold gift cards, credit cards, or business cards.
If you’re new to knitting, the Garter Stitch one is a good one to start with as it only uses the knit stitch. Once you’re ready to try the purl stitch, the Stockinette Stitch pouch is a nice project.
The Cable one is the next step, combining knit and purl stitches on the same row and adding in a basic cable twist. Lastly, the Lace one is a little more involved, adding in increase and decrease techniques.
All are knitted in worsted-weight yarns and only require about 20 yards per pouch. Originally featured in my Meetup Live Stitch It Up! demo. I’ll link to the recording of this event once it’s available. You’ll be able to watch me demo some of the techniques needed to complete these pouches.
Each pouch uses approx 20 yds / 19 m.
