NOTE FROM DESIGNER (3/6/09): I can’t recommend the Lush yarn anymore for this project! Sigh. Live and learn. It was gorgeous at first, but the angora is just too fluffy and after some wear and tear, gives the blanket too much of a felted look (losing the wonderful floral stitch definition!). The yarn weight should be easy enough to substitute - perhaps in a nice merino wool blend? Or washable wool? -- Katherine
