“My serve…New balls should help.”<p> Teriokhin hits another smash with his retrofitted men’s tennis vest. A grand slam of features- allover cable patterning, bands at the waist and around the shallow V neck, ribbed edges- is done in “Lion Cotton.”

MATERIALS

Lion Cotton by Lion Brand, 5oz/140g skeins, each approx 236yd/212m (cotton)
3 (3, 4) balls in #98 Natural
1 ball each: #108 Blue, #186 Maize, #110 Navy
4 colors, 6-7 balls total

• One pair size 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle 24”/60cm long
• Cable needle and stitch holders

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Sized for Man’s Small (Medium, Large). Shown in size Small.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Chest 40 (45, 50)“/101.5 (114, 127)cm
• Length 25 (25½, 26½)”/63.5 (65, 67)cm

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 26 rows to 4”/10cm over St st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
• 21 sts and 26 rows to 4”/10cm over cable pat foll chart using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
