A deep, folded-back cuff is both updated and practical in this textured hat.

Subtle lace motifs add tons of cable-like texture and character to this beanie. A generous height allows the hat to be worn standing up slightly, or pulled down for extra ear coverage.

This seamless hat is knit from the bottom up in the round, starting with the ribbed cuff. The hat then continues with an all over lace design that concludes at the crown with a pretty star shape.

Many worsted-weight yarns will work well with this pattern, as shown here with the three different samples. Easily substitute another worsted-weight yarn that meets the basic 4 stitches per inch knitting gauge.

This hat is also a great stash-buster, needing only 180 yards, which is often just one hank or skein of yarn. Lace and crown-shaping are both charted and written out.

Bonus doll hat with optional ear holes is included in the pdf (for a 9-11 ½” doll head size).

FINISHED HAT MEASUREMENTS: Approx 21” / 53.5 cm around x 8 ½” / 21.5 cm height with cuff folded up. Easily stretches to fit up to 24” / 61 cm head.
