3D Honeycomb Hat
This 3D Hat pattern can be made as a Messy Bun hat or a regular closed hat. You can also add an “inside hat” in a different color. It will be seen through the “honeycombs” to make a unique look!
Skill Level: Medium – you just need to know your basic stitches. I will show you the rest.
Gauge: Is not really important as we will be using measurements.
However, using a larger hook or yarn than stated will not give you the intended look.
Materials:
* Crochet Hook: D/3.25 mm (I am a VERY, VERY TIGHT crocheter, so maybe even C or B)
* I used Eulali 100% cotton for this pattern. You can use Aunt Lydia’s #3 or any other SUPER FINE will do. Using a different type/size of yarn will cause a completely different look. Approx. 450-500 yards for a Large Adult Size. I like the Eulali because it is 395 yards per skein and comes in many colors. You can get it very quickly from www.creativeyarnsource.com
* Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Measuring Tape
