This is a PDF Crochet Pattern for wings that you can attach to your shoes. They will look great to hight top shoes, but also on roller-skates and normal skates.

This pattern includes three different versions for shoe wings (basic, butterfly and sunflower), so you can choose which one you like best or make all of them.

Note: This project uses a lot of stitch markers so you should be familiar with how to work with them. I would recommend this pattern for an “advanced beginner” or “intermediate crocheter”. You should know basic stitches (chain, slst, sc, hdc, dc, tr) but I provide instructions for more unusual ones (plus instructions for a clean color change and seamless fasten off).

I’ve also included a lot of pictures (130) to help you along the way and make this process easier to follow along.

Finished size: about 9 cm (3,54”’) wide and 12 cm (4,72”) high. Remember that may vary based on your tension, preferred yarn and hook size. I used sport weight yarn (I recommend cotton for stiffness) and 2.5 mm crochet hook.

Yarn amount: I used about 12-15 grams for one wing. This also may vary.
