This capelet is worked sideways in garter stitch, with very loose stitches worked with multiple wraps at one side (the bottom as worn) and regular knit stitches at the other side (the neck as worn); all extra wraps from previous rows are dropped as new stitches are formed.

Two strands of yarn are held together throughout.
