This pattern provides instructions for Tabards, knitted in King Cole Big Value Chunky yarn.

Gauge:
14 stitches and 20 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 6mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

14 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over moss stitch using 5mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Sizing Information:
1st, 2nd and 3rd sizes are for a Child then the 4th and 5th sizes are for a Adult.

To fit chest:
(Small: 56/61cm / 22/24”), (Medium: 66/71cm / 26/28”), (Large: 76/81cm / 30/32”), (Small: 81/86cm / 32/34”), (Medium: 97/102cm / 38/40”).

Moss stitch Tabard - shade Grape:
(Size 1: 5 balls yarn), (Size 2: 5 balls yarn), (Size 3: 6 balls yarn), (Size 4: 7 balls yarn), (Size 5: 8 balls yarn).

What you will need:
1x 6mm (UK4 – US10) Knitting needles.
1x 6mm (UK4 – US10) 60cm Circular needle for the Neckband.
1x 5mm (UK6 – US8) Knitting needles.
1x 5mm (UK6 – US8) 60cm Circular needle.
And 6 8:8:8:10 buttons for each Tabard.
