Gauge:
20 stitches and 41 rows to 10cm (4“) over pattern using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.
