5 Currant Buns
“Five currant buns in a bakers shop, round and fat with a cherry on the top, along came a boy with a penny one day, bought a currant bun and took it away…”
I was asked by my Auntie to make 5 currant buns for the children in the nursery she works in, to use as a prop for their nursery rhyme time. I couldn’t find any I liked online, so I wrote up this quick and easy pattern. It uses a minimal amount of yarn and so is a great stash buster.
For the purposes of this pattern, English crochet terms are used.
Remember children should always be supervised when playing with toys

DK yarn in brown or beige (less than 50g)
