5 different styles of Jack O’ Lantern inspired pumpkin appliques made with crochet! I used Red Heart Super Saver in Pumpkin and Paddy Green in all pictured pumpkins, but I’ve since made a couple using Marmalade from Dollar Tree’s Just Yarn, as well as some Sunshine Yellow ones. Thinking of making a green one, and embroidering on some french knots for warts to make another, in case anyone else wants to try that out.

These are really fast and only use a bit of yarn, so it’s a perfect project for scrap yarn! They’re approx. 4x3 inches (with some variation depending on style). You could probably alter the size quite a bit by switching to a larger yarn and hook size to size up, and a smaller thread and hook size to size down, depending on the look you want.

I used a padding cord to make the vine and leaf, which is maybe a little tricky if you’ve never done it before. I have a video tutorial for these little guys on my Youtube channel available at the link.
