5 Lines
5 lines gray, 5 lines red….5 lines is a modern minimal shawl.
Lines, texture and stripes emerge in this sumptuous garter stitch shawl, worked bias with a “not true” intarsia. A stylish accessory a modern shawl.
YARN AND NEEDLES
Quince & Co “Finch” 5 skeins, egret color (50 g = 202 mt/221yds)
Quince & Co “Finch” 2 skeins, frost color (50 g = 202 mt/221yds)
Quince & Co “Finch” 1 skeins, peaks ferry color (50 g = 202 mt/221yds)
3 mm (US 2,5) needle
GAUGE
Gauge is not important as long as you like the fabric that you’ve created after blocking your swatch.
I used: row 3 mm (US 2,5) to get 23 sts x 48 rows = ~ 10 cm/4 inch in garter stitch after blocking
SIZE
260 cm / 102 inch wingspan along top edge and 100 cm / 39 inch width
