I designed this chart as a commemorative piece in honor of 500 years of Anabaptist history. January 21st, 1525 is considered the birth date of Anabaptism, a religious movement during the Protestant Reformation that began in Zurich, Switzerland. My Mennonite and Amish heritage is often an inspiration for my creative textile work, within themes of everyday life.

I consider this an intermediate level project. My pattern does not teach you how to filet crochet. It assumes you are familiar with filet crochet techniques and can follow the chart independently.
I wet-blocked my finished piece to 28” x 44” dimensions and attached it to a wool backing fabric.
