This pattern provides instructions for a baby’s matinee coat, cardigan, crossover waistcoat, hat and blanket, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

20 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4”) over moss stitch on 4mm needles for the garments. 13 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm (4”) over moss stitches on 6.5mm needles with yarn used double for the blanket. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(Premature: 31cm / 12”), (0-3 months: 36cm / 14”), (3-6 months: 41cm / 16”), (6-9 months: 46cm / 18”), (9-12 months: 51cm / 20”).
