This pattern provides instructions for four styles of hat and mitten, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

Gauge:
27 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over pattern when slightly stretched using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Width around head:

Width around hand:
(Size 1: 9.5cm / 3.75”), (Size 2: 10cm / 4”),
(Size 3: 10.5cm / 4.5”), (Size 4: 11cm / 4.5”),
(Size 5: 11cm / 4.5”).
