This pattern provides instructions for Cardigan and Shawl, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

Gauge:
28 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over Cardigan pattern using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over Shawl pattern using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(Size 1: 81cm/ 32”), (Size 2: 86cm/ 34”), (Size 3: 91cm/ 36”), (Size 4: 97cm/ 38”), (Size 5: 102cm/ 40”), (Size 6: 107cm/ 42”).

Shawl - Length from shoulder (approximately):
(Size 1: 71cm/ 28”).

Cardigan:
(Size 1: 6 balls yarn), (Size 2: 6 balls yarn), (Size 3: 7 balls yarn), (Size 4: 7 balls yarn), (Size 5: 8 balls yarn), (Size 6: 8 balls yarn).

Shawl:
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn).

You will need 1x 3.75mm Circular needle for the Shawl.
Also 7 buttons, Ref BT421 from the King Cole range of Buttons for the Cardigan.
