This pattern provides instructions for a baby’s Matinee Coat, Cardigan, Crossover Cardigan and Hat, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

19 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4”) over garter stitch on 4mm needles and 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4”) over stocking stitch on 4mm needles. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(Premature: 31cm / 12”), (0-3 months: 36cm / 14”), (3-6 months: 41cm / 16”), (6-9 months: 46cm / 18”), (9-12 months: 51cm / 20”).
