This pattern provides instructions for a baby’s matinee coat, angel top, jacket and hat, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4”) over stocking stitch on 4mm needles and 24 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4”) over Blackberry stitch on 4mm needles. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(Premature: 31cm / 12”), (0-3 months: 36cm / 14”), (3-6 months: 41cm / 16”), (6-9 months: 46cm / 18”), (9-12 months: 51cm / 20”).
