These gorgeous hairbands are a favourite of my daughters, make fantastic stocking and party bag fillers, and are a wonderful stash buster as each one takes about a quarter of a ball of wool and a stretchy hair band. They are quick and easy to do and are really versatile.
This is for 6 different patterns, and can be used as headbands for anything from school to holding the hair back to put on your make up.

You can use any wool and any crochet hook for these projects, they will simply mean you get a more delicate or more chunky end result. I have used a size 3.5mm hook for those shown in the photos, with 2 threads of an extra fine bamboo yarn, as I love bamboo for it’s super softness.

You will need less than a ball of wool, and a stretchy hairband.
