This little shrug is a quick knit for the popular 6” mini dolls from American Girl and Our Generation.

Although Baby Bee Sweet Delight is listed as a DK weight yarn on Ravelry, it’s not close to the other DK weight yarns in my stash. I’d suggest a very light DK or even a sock or fingering yarn. The shrug uses a very small amount of yarn - .1 ounce or about 3 grams.

It’s tricky to get the cuffs over the doll’s little fingers so this may not be a clothing item that younger children will find easy to put on the doll.

Here’s a tip from Ravelry member crazyquilter: Cut a corner from a plastic bag and slip it over the doll’s hands when putting on hand knit doll clothes.

I hope you have a mini doll nearby when knitting this shrug so it can be tried on the doll for fit as no gauge is given.
