6" Modular Butterfly Square
Note
I will be correcting the pdf shortly but in the meantime there is a very small errata concerning the numbering of the rows only, the written instructions are correct.
In the 1st Section the row numbers should read thus:-
Rows 4 &5 should be numbered Rows 3 & 4
Row 6 should be numbered Row 5
Apologies for any inconvenience!
An original project which will incorporate and extend your existing knowledge whilst allowing you to pick up new skills.
This pattern is for a six inch blanket square which features a butterfly design using oddments of double knitting/light worsted yarn.
Use spaced-dyed, flecked, stripy or solid colourways, in muted or bright shades, anything goes!
It is knitted in 5 sections with chain selvages and it is easier than it looks!
The pattern is fully illustrated with clear photographic examples at each stage.
Yarn quantities-
MC 30 meters (approx)
CC 25 meters (approx)
“Every butterfly will grow in front of you and become a ‘little work of art’ just like a caterpillar metamorphosing in its chrysalis, eventually emerging as a beautiful butterfly”
