60s Striped Mod Sweater and High Socks
A 1960s pattern to crochet a cool striped summer sweater and matching high socks, in an openwork pattern, shown here in white/green/red stripes. Ideal for a summery evening to wear over your bikini top or wear a shirt under it for colder days. Add your personal touch by changing the colors.
The neck of the sweater is knitted.
Size (sweater):
Instructions to fit a 34, 36 or 38 inch bust.
Length from shoulder 24 inches.
Sleeve seam 16.5 inches.
Materials (sweater):
15/16/17 x 25 gram balls of Lister Bell Air Double Crepe (White).
2/2/2 x 25 gram balls of Lister Bell Air Double Crepe (Green).
5/6/6 x 25 gram balls of Lister Bell Air Double Crepe (Rust).
Materials (socks):
5/5/5 x 25 gram balls of Lister Bell Air Double Crepe (White).
Small quantity of the above colors.
Hook size (see included chart for conversions):
Crochet hook 4mm (UK size 8, US size G).
Knitting needles UK size 10 for the neck.
