This is for the larger size cardigan set. If you wish to knit the very premature sizes of this cardigan, you will need knitting pattern no. 15.

Instructions for a reborn doll or baby lacy cardigan, beanie hat and bootees set in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on size. This little cardigan set is suitable for either a boy or a girl. When knitted it will fit either a 16-17” 18-19”, 20-21”, 22” or 24+“ height baby/reborn doll or approx 4lb - 6 month old baby. You will need:

17-18” or 42.5-45cm Height (Approx 4-5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 51-53.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

150g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (Approx 0-3 Months) Size

200g dk yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

3-6 Month Size

200g dk yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
