This creative design brings in lots of exciting and different design opportunities. The two yarns are worked in a variety of stitch patterns from Stock St. to Garter St. to Slip St and more. Each piece is worked from a corner on the diagonal until 1/2 the width of the piece. Stitches are put on hold. Another piece is made until it matches. Both pieces are put on the needle and the stitch patterns are worked with an Increase at the beginning and end of the merged row and a double decrease in the center. This keeps the same number of stitches on the needle and makes the fabric longer with each row. Play with color, texture and different designs having a blast along the way.
