We work 2 different yarns in this layered diagonal shawl. Impress is worked for the bottom layer. The yarn is a beautiful blended yarn with subtle color changes. The design is worked on the diagonal with a full fashion increase at the begging of the row and a full fashion decrease at the end. When necessary, Impress is changed to Celebrate, a 100% cotton with a fun and imaginative vibrant color change. The stitches continue in Stock St. for a distance before they are turned into a tube by picking up the color change and working stitches together to create a tuck. This alternates the distance of the shawl.
