6601J Gomitolo Tosca Directional Stripe Poncho
by Barry Klein
This great poncho is worked as a rectangle and then assembled and finished. You will use the yarn from inside or outside of the ball as all colors will appear. The pattern is worked in stripes of Garter St. (knit every row) and an easy Lace St. Watch the colors come to life and work until desired length. If desired, keep as a rectangular wrap. For Poncho, the piece is folded and sewn with the bind off edge to the side edge creating a neck opening. Stitches are picked up to create a collar and it’s all done.
