The body of the triangle shawl is knit in Trendsetter Yarns Vector. This new yarn is created with open Merino fiber that is space dyed and then set inside of a polyamid cage. When the yarn is done and washed, the fibers open up to create a thick yarn without the weight. The fibers create stripes and strong inserts of contrast colors. The body is worked in boxes of Stock St. and Rev. Stock St. that alternate to create a checkerboard. The entire piece is then picked up and striped to create a final border.
