this is just a wonderful pattern to work. The piece is knit from the outside towards the center with stitch markers in place to separate the four sections. Each section is shaped with double decreases lowering the stitch count by 8 stitches on each decrease row. The colors alter in stitch patterns from Stock St. to Rev. Stock St. so there is always something to watch and to see what happens.
