“7 Kingdoms”

This cowl has been created as part of my Game Of Thrones inspired collection.

I wanted to create a piece that was relevant to every house within the story.

The style of the cowl being a garment across the breastbone I see as being something worn both in the north for warmth and in the south as armour or as a decorative item.

I have included a wall like pattern at the top, with the lines further down the cowl depicting the family lineage of each house.
Whether you see my insight to the pattern or have your own visualisation from it, I hope you enjoy making and wearing the cowl in whatever yarn colour you choose.

It’s a simple stitched piece that’s made in the round and finished with optional tassels.
