This sock is very similar to the #4 sock in the same book, but the twisted/traveling cables on this one are larger in scale.

This pattern is written for a circular sock machine. There are instructions for making this sock on a 72-, 60- and 54-needle cylinder. The corresponding ribber (36, 30 or 27) is required.

Gauge and yardage requirements will vary with the size of cylinder you choose, the tension setting on your machine and how many rows you crank.
