7 Stripe Shawl
This is a great beginner pattern! There are a bunch of photos to clarify the instructions and the pattern itself is very straightforward.
There is an easy to print no photo section if you don’t need the extra help.
This project is easy to modify if you want a different number of stripes or no stripes at all because I give you the stitch counts for every row in the pattern. Just change colors where you like.
This is sized for an adult/teen.
Supplies needed to make a shawl that is like my sample:
• Worsted weight yarn in any 7 colors (these will be listed as A,B,C,D,E,F,G) the smallest stripe at the top only uses a little the stripe at the bottom uses about 200 yards.
• Size M (9mm) or size to meet gauge 8 ST and 4 Rows = 4” in TRC
• Yarn needle
Stitches used:
• CH- Chain
• SL- Slip Stitch
• SC- Single Crochet
• HDC- Half Double Crochet
• DC- Double Crochet
• TRC- Treble Crochet
