Meet the 7 Wonders Shrug! The creation of this design was inspired by the luxurious Clinton Hill Cashmere from which the original shrug is crafted and is also named after the Fleetwood Mac song. Whether a knitting virtuoso or an emerging beginner, this simple pattern will guide you through the making of a timeless piece that’s sure to become a cherished staple in your wardrobe.
Materials:
3 (3, 3, 4, 4)5, 5, 5, 6, 6 balls of Clinton Hill Cashmere Bespoke, 100% Italian Cashmere, 99 yards/91 meters per 50 g ball, or 226 (262, 288, 327, 360)390, 428, 467, 501, 542 yds / 207 (240, 263, 299, 329)357, 391, 427, 458, 496 m of similar weight yarn
US 9 (5.5 mm) 32”/ 80 cm to 40”/ 100 cm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge in stockinette stitch)
US 15 (10.0 mm) 32”/ 80 cm to 40”/ 100 cm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge in 1x1 rib stitch)

Tapestry needle
Gauge:
12.5 sts and 24 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch with smaller needle, wet blocked
11 sts and 9 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in 1x1 rib stitch with larger needle after wet blocking.
*Note:** The rib expands considerably with wet blocking; take time to wet-block your swatch as you would your finished garment.**

Sample Size 4 was created for a 46” chest circumference and is worn with 6”/ 15 cm of negative ease.
Recommended to be worn with 2-6” / 5-15 cm of negative ease at the chest across the Front of the shrug. The ease across the Back of the shrug is designed to fit with no ease, or a small amount of positive ease. The fit of this shrug is up to you and your own personal preference.
